Già confermato per l'occidente quindi apriamo, il nuovo Sakura Wars dopo gli eventi del 5 (quello del Wii) cambia in toto il cast di protagoniste, ed è ora ambientato nel 1940 (SW è in una realtà alternativa simil-steampunk, ricordiamolo).
Beh rinnova totalmente la Flower Division (già lo faceva il 5 ambientato a NY), poi che abbia riferimenti agli altri non lo so, 1940 è parecchio in là, fai conto che i primi sono ambientati negli anni '20.
Forse è un'impressione mia ma l'artstyle di Kubo non rende bene in 3D quanto quello di Fujishima, dovrebbero tornare ad usare i ritratti animati. Sakura e la bimbo bionda sembrano particolarmente derpy.
Visto che Kubo pare abbia dato una mano nello sviluppo come idea guy magari potrebbe anche uscire fuori qualcosa di interessante...

Tanto avresti comunque poco da recuperare quelli vecchi visto che l'unico ufficialmente localizzato è il 5 mentre il primo è stato tradotto solo per PC........... in russo.
Comunque si è fatto avanti un altro temerario. Vediamo se pure questo finirà nel limbo del >40%.

This game has the event for the 3rd time, but the story turns more serious... -Imperial Revue staff & other revue chars also appear w/ surprising VAs. -Member trust levels are still intact, can lead to combination moves or even personal endings. -Basic frame for next episode preview dont change. -The map is brand-new. You can walk inside buildings, everything in ADV mode is done on same map. -LIPS system let you do things like peeking from below. -Some more new features in Click Mode. -Will try to make not much effect on CERO rating. -Kamiyama's character is flexible & can change based on player choice. -Look forward to the thing at front of shower room! -Sakura is a bit clumsy (dojikko). -Hatsuho is different from Kanna. -Azami's clothing has a reason behind it. -Claris is rather badmouthed & launches insults like "Fall to Hell!" She's recommended to ppl who want to be scolded by Hayami Saori. -Mecha designer is still Akitaka Mika. -Song amount is around 70-80. Also aiming to have the most vocal songs in series; both group & solo songs. -Q: Will other country theaters have songs too? A: I wonder lol. -Dev progress is around 40~50%
Capisco che la parte strategica non è mai stato il pane e burro della serie e la gente preferiva nettamente la parte VN/Dating Sim ma, onestamente, pensare che non ci sia più interesse per il genere dopo il boom di Fire Emblem mi sembra oltremodo idiotico.
Vorrei dargli fiducia ma visto che c'è già stato un precedente con Valkyria Azure Revolution i dubbi sono più che legittimi. Spero che riescano a smentirmi.
