"Ryan 'FChamp' Ramirez is hereby banned indefinitely from all Capcom-owned and/or operated events including Capcom Pro Tour and Street Fighter League for violating the player code of conduct," said the issued statement. "This is a global ban, meaning it applies to tournaments and events in all locations throughout the world."

This ban has come about as a result of a comment posted by Filipino Champ on Twitter, which he later apologized for several times.

Filipino Champ deleted the Tweet in question and stated that it was a "very insensitive Tweet by me," he said. "I didn't mean any harm from it, but I promise I'll be better. Sorry to everyone."

This comment also resulted in Filipino Champ being banned from East Coast Throwdown and Combo Breaker.
