| Ok, this is getting sillier by the day. www.eventhubs.com/news/2022/may/20...nce-evo-cb2022/CITAZIONE Seon-woo "Infiltration" Lee has been banned from Twitch and this year's Evo, CEO, Combo Breaker and multiple other events, according to screen shots he posted online. Combo Breaker 2022 is slated to start a week from today.
For both Evo and Combo Breaker, two events in which he had already registered for this year, refunds have reportedly been processed for Infiltration. Although the staff for Evo 2022 and Combo Breaker 2022 have both cited each event's code of conduct as to why Infiltration was denied, Infiltration said that neither event has provided details beyond this. "Thank you for your interest in registering for Evo 2022," said the Evo email sent to Infiltration. "After conducting a review, we determined you do not meet our Code of Conduct, and we cannot allow you to compete at Evo this year. You are being refunded. This decision is being supported by Combo Breaker, Community Effort Orlando, East Coast Throwdown, and the intercontinental Fight Club."
According to Infiltration, he received a similar email from Combo Breaker just minutes after being denied competing at Evo this year.
"In respect to our Code of Conduct, and in support of the Evolution Championship Series enforcement of their own, you will not be able to attend COMBO BREAKER 2022 this year," wrote the email to Infiltration. "You are being refunded."
Infiltration has also been banned from Twitch. Although he stated that he was not provided with a reason for his Twitch ban, it is very likely linked to the usage of racial slurs as seen in a NSFW Twitch clip, which happened during a stream where he talked about the bans from FGC events. CITAZIONE As of June 3, Capcom has issued a statement banning Seon-woo "Infiltration" Lee from all Capcom owned, operated, and/or licensed events including the Capcom Pro Tour. More information on this after the jump.
Both Infiltration and another player named Michael "Theo Lee Ronin" Parks were banned from Capcom events on Friday for "multiple code of conduct violations." Below is Capcom's statement via Twitter. Edited by The Wraith - 4/6/2022, 04:59
