To keep the pleasure of playing Little Nightmares when it will release on April 28th, this 7 minutes long gameplay video has been edited

We got our hands on some of the pages from the Twin Chefs’ cookbook. For this recipe, they use to dark chocolate to make those leeches slightly more palatable!

1. Melt the butter.
2. Spread the puff pastry sheet onto a flour-dusted surface.
3. Cut two rectangles of 16x20cm.
4. Cover one rectangle with the melted butter, then sprinkle sugar and cinnamon, according to taste, on it.
5. Cover the rectangle with the second one. Pinch the sides to seal it.
6. Cut into 2cm strips. Take them by the ends and twist them 3 to 6 times.
7. Shape them into leeches and then bake for 10 mins at 190°C.
8. Melt dark chocolate and cover the leeches with it when they are done.
9. Put in the fridge for 15 mins to harden the chocolate.

Another Twin Chefs’ cookbook lost pages stolen from the Kitchen… This one will give shape to the Nomes - the mischievous oddities who run around the darkest corners of The Maw.

2. Cut a rectangle of 10x15. In the upper part, cut two isosceles triangles for the Nomes’ heads.
3. Put a spoonful of chocolate hazelnut spread in it, then a spoonful of peanut butter on top of it.
4. Put the second triangle on top of the first one and pinch the sides to seal it.
5. In the bottom part of the rectangle, cut a medium sized rectangle and two little rectangles. Put them under the Nomes’ head to create the body and legs.
6. At the base of the Nomes’ head, cut a hole with the point of a knife. It will allow steam to escape while baking.
7. Brush the Nomes with egg wash. Make sure to brush all the parts so they stick together.
8. Bake for 15mn at 200°C.

We got our hands on some of the pages from the Chefs’ cookbook. Looks like a pastry version of Six is easier to catch than the real thing!

2. Cut an 8cm square and a 7x4cm rectangle.
3. Fold it onto itself to form a triangle shape.
4. Make two cuts at the base of the triangle, each at 8mm from the edge, toward the top.
5. Unfold the triangle, turn it 90° clockwise and fold the top of the outer diamond on the bottom of the inner diamond. Then fold the bottom of the outer diamond on the top of the inner diamond.
6. Cut the knots on the side to keep only a diamond shape.
7. Spread 1 spoonful of chocolate hazelnut spread on the inside.
8. Cut a slice of banana and put it on the bottom part of the inner diamond. Cover the top of the slice with the chocolate hazelnut spread.
9. In the rectangle, cut a rectangle for the body and two little rectangle for the legs.
10. Brush with egg wash. Make sure to brush all the parts so they stick together.
11. Bake for 15 mins at 200°C.

Inspired by the unpleasant goings-on in The Chefs’ kitchen, this cocktail has a sour body but a sweet escape, and even comes with a dash of blood-red beet juice!

22ml orange juice
22ml lemon juice
22ml agave nectar
60ml falernum syrup
A dash of bitter
15ml beet juice
1 orange slice
Ice

1. Mix all the ingredients except for the beet juice and orange slice in a shaker filled with ice.
2. Pour (without the shaker’s ice) in a high glassed filled with crushed ice. Then, slowly pour the beet juice so it flows to the bottom.
3. Put the orange slice on glass’ edge and serve.

Though it may recreate the look of the leeches a little too well, be assured, this darkly delicious drink will leave you feeling very happy indeed!

80ml coconut milk
A dash of white chocolate sauce
Dark chocolate sauce
Licorice strings
Ice cubes

1. In a shaker filled with ice, pour 80ml of coconut milk and a dash of white chocolate sauce. Mix well until it becomes frothy.
2. Pour (without the shaker’s ice) in a short ice filled with crushed ice.
3. On the glass’ sides, pour dark chocolate sauce.
4. Put licorice strings on the edge.

The Lady is on top of the food chain of the Maw. She has a taste for exotic things, and this cocktail more than fits the bill.

Ice cube :
1g matcha powder
10ml agave nectar
100ml water

1. Mix and pour in a spheric ice mold and put in the freezer.

(Optional) Yuzu mousse :
100ml lemon juice
28g Pro-espuma cold
60ml sugar water
1 teaspoon Yuzu paste

1. In a bowl, mix the lemon juice, sugar water and Yuzu paste.
2. Heat it and add the pro-espuma.
3. Filter and pour in a cream canister. Shake well and put 30mn in the fridge.
